Rental Assistance Program

Rental Assistance Program is currently not accepting new applications.


The Rental Assistance Program can assist eligible individuals or families to reduce the time in which they are experiencing homelessness and sustain housing with:

1.   Security and utility deposit assistance

2.   Eviction prevention 

3.  Rapid rehousing for the homeless who require utility deposit, security deposits and/or temporary rental assistance (not to exceed 12 months). 

4.  Assistance will be limited to a one time grant not to exceed $7,500 per household.

Eligibility information:

The lease must be at least twelve months.

Assistance will be provided directly to the utility company or landlord, not the assisted household.

Recipients of assistance must go through an assessment to determine likelihood of housing sustainability and stabilization once the assistance period runs out.

Recipients of other ongoing rental assistance (such as Section 8) are not eligible to receive assistance.
