SafeCam Program

Purpose & Overview

SafeCam is a public safety initiative in partnership with community stakeholders who agree to provide access to their surveillance cameras to the Miami Gardens Police Department. The SafeCam Program is designed to provide police the ability to access your private security cameras that view public areas for the purpose of observing, interdicting and obtaining visual video documentation of illegal activity.

Eligibility

  • Must have cameras installed and functional  
  • Must be a resident of  or operate a business in the City of Miami Gardens
  • Must pay a $25  monthly fee

How to Get Involved

If you are interested in signing up for the Program, please fill out the application form and email it to safecam@mgpdfl.org  or deliver it to the Miami Gardens Police Department, Records Unit attn: RTCC, located at 18611 NW 27th Ave, Miami Gardens, FL 33056.
