  1. City Council Meeting

    June 23, 2021, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Council Chambers

    The City Council meeting will be streamed live on the City's website via the Agenda Web Portal at /Portal/Video.aspx and YouTube Live as the City Council Chambers will be closed to the public but an exemption will be made for the allowance of one individual at a time to enter Council Chambers in order to address the City Council during the Open Public Comment portion of the City Council meeting, on a particular item, or during a quasi-judicial public hearing. Zoom will be available as an additional means for public participation. Any member of the public who wishes to provide public comment can do so by pre-registering with the City Clerk at least one hour prior to the meeting by emailing mbataille@miamigardens-fl.gov.

  2. Juneteenth Drive-In Celebration

    June 19, 2021, 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Calder Casino Lot E

    City of Miami Gardens Vice Mayor Reggie Leon, Councilwoman Katrina Wilson and Councilman Robert Stephens, III present the Juneteenth Drive-In Celebration hosted by Comedian Marvin Dixon! Under this year’s theme Forward Together: Traveling the Journey To Freedom Through Music, Miami Gardens has invited special acts to perform multiple musical selections that will highlight the evolution of slavery to freedom in the United States. There will be merchandise and food trucks, with music provided by DJ BoWeezy. All residents must remain in or near their cars at all times. While you must stay near your cars, residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. There shall be no more than five (5 ) persons per car and COVID-19 guidelines will be strictly enforced (i.e. masks, six feet separation, etc.) Gates open at 4PM at Lot E. Show begins at 5PM.
