Adopt A Road

The City of Miami Gardens is a member of the National Flood Insurance Program. Membership in the program allows residents of the City of Miami Gardens to obtain federally backed mortgages and disaster assistance in the event of floods. In exchange, the City requires new land developments and remodels of existing buildings to conform to rules that minimize flood damage. Public Works is responsible for administering this program and providing Flood Zone information to the citizens of City of Miami Gardens.
