The Procurement Division serves as a centralized purchasing service for the City’s various agencies and departments. It is our mission to provide best value purchasing, excellent customer service and a transparent process, while serving the City and its taxpayers.
The Procurement Division is responsible for the purchase of all equipment, supplies and services and ensuring the City’s actions are in accordance with the State of Florida Statutes, City Ordinance and NIGP Code of Ethics that govern the Procurement process. The Division coordinates the processing of Bids, Requests for Proposal (RFP’s) and Request for Qualification (RFQ’s) for applicable goods, service and equipment used in our municipal services.

The City's Procurement Division received the prestigious "Achievement of Excellence in Procurement" award from the National Purchasing Institute (NPI). The award is designed to recognize organizational excellence in public procurement. The award measures innovation, professionalism, productivity, and leadership attributes of the procurement organization.
The division also received the 2014 Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials (FAPPO) Award for excellence in public procurement.
