Lindell Y. Miller, M.B.A, C.P.PO was hired as the Director of Procurement in March of 2015. Prior to joining the City of Miami Gardens, Florida, she was employed with the Broward County Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Broward County Government Purchasing Department and the Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development for a total of ten years .
As a highly motivated OIG Administrator , Procurement, Operational and Management Professional, Ms. Miller has led and overseen large scale Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), developed and implemented Small Business workshops for Broward County, while working diligently with Broward County Purchasing and the Office of Economic Small Business Development.
Ms. Miller obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (M.B.A) and Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S) from Nova South Eastern University and is also a Certified Public Procurement Officer (C.P.P.O).
Ms. Miller has a passion for procurement and economic growth within the community and has exceptional knowledge in procurement, contract and compliance oversight, and City economic development..
