Brandon DeCaro Director Capital Improvement Projects
Mr. DeCaro has 32 years of experience as an architect, project manager and project director for many government and educational facilities. He is currently overseeing the development of the Parks Master Plan that will provide improvements for all of the City's Parks, Public Pools and managing construction of New City Hall Municipal Complex. Prior to joining the City’s team he specialized in the design and construction of new public schools throughout the State of Florida. He has been an associate with several of the most prominent architectural firms in Dade County.
Mr. DeCaro holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from the College of Architecture and Planning at Ball State University. He is currently a registered architect in Florida and New York.

As the Director of Capital Improvement Projects, Brandan DeCaro oversees all of the City’s building projects. The Capital Improvement Department is responsible for the development of the programs, schedules and budgets for all of the building projects that are in the City’s comprehensive development plan. The projects include improvements to all of the parks, police building, city offices and arts in public places installations. The department manages the architects, engineers, testing labs and construction contractors that are responsible for the design and construction for all of these city projects.
