About us

The Building Department is a professional organization committed to establish the minimum requirements to preserve the health, safety and welfare of the public through interpretation and enforcement of the Florida Building Code and codes established by the State and County agencies.

The Department accomplishes the above function by issuing building permits after plan review processing and finalizing building permits after the approval of building inspections during construction to ensure the compliance with the approved documentation.

Office Hours

8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Inspector’s Meeting Hours
8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

Development Hours
8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Inspections Requests daily cut off is at 3:00 p.m.
Requests made after 3:00 p.m. will be rolled-
over to the following working day.
