Assistant City Manager
Assistant City Manager, Mr. Rosemond assists the City Manager in the general operation of the City, including areas of policy decisions, staffing, establishing service levels, funding opportunities, and interaction with elected officials and members of the community. Mr. Rosemond is responsible for all departments and currently provides line responsibility for the following specific areas: the development, direct oversight, and management of the City Community Development, Building, and Planning and Zoning Departments.

Bio of Danny Rosemond, Assistant City Manager
Mr. Daniel Rosemond (Danny) is a seasoned public administrator. Possessing nearly 25 years of experience in the public sector, Danny brings a wealth of knowledge in numerous senior administrative capacities. Having worked for 3 different local government municipalities, as well as stints in both the private sector and university system, Danny thoroughly understands business management concepts and practices and is driven by a continual desire to enhance polices and practices to better serve the customer.
In his dual capacity as Director of Community Development for the City of Miami Gardens, Danny is responsible for establishing and administering a variety of programs aimed at serving low and moderate income individuals. His department currently administers a modest budget of just under $4M comprised of federal and state funds. The City’s Community Development Programs currently include single family rehab, down payment assistance, and economic development.
Danny serves on the board for the Housing Finance Authority of Miami Dade County and the North Dade Chamber of Commerce.
