Bio of Councilmember Sharon Pritchett, Seat 5
Ms. Pritchett is the Chief Investigator in the Law Offices of Bennett H. Brummer, Miami-Dade County’s Public Defender. She was elected to the City of Miami Gardens’ City Council, Seat 5 (citywide), in June 2003.
Prior to being elected to the Council, she served on the North Dade Community Council 3 (included being elected one term as the chairperson and one term as the co-chairperson). In addition, Ms. Pritchett is a member of Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated ~ Alpha Gamma Chapter (a service-oriented organization), where she serves as the Southeastern Regional Director.
She remains committed to community service through a multiplicity of other civic, political and community organizations, where she maintains active memberships.
Councilmember Pritchett is a strong, consistent advocate, who seeks to “empower” residents, business owners, and others with information relative to ensuring Miami Gardens is a City “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
